RSG was founded in 1961 at Riches Street Garage (RSG) Limited. Based in Wolverhampton it was originally a traditional garage forecourt operation, servicing cars and pumping petrol.

Over the years the company directors had a vision to create a public address system that would eventually revolutionise water authority and emergency services vehicles.

In the mid 1980's RSG Engineering Limited was incorporated as a separate company, leaving behind its Riches Street Garage roots to concentrate on servicing the public utilities and emergency services markets.

Our aim is and always has been to have a rigid standard of quality, commitment, pride and an exceptional level of service, being awarded ISO 9001:2015 is proof of our hard work and determination in achieving this.

The company is now based in Cannock and is a market leader in emergency hazard lighting including lightbars, beacons and LED warning modules including an extensive range of interior and exterior work lamps.

In addition, we have developed a range of telematics devices,
journey data recorders, vehicle video and control systems that
are unique to RSG and have been installed in 1000's of vehicles
across the UK.

By the way - the public address system that kicked the whole thing off is still going strong,
though it may have had a few subtle tweaks over the years.
