This system is similar our Live Track System but operates with software that has been specifically developed to keep track of mobile assets, particularly those of high value.
Therefore as well as the device automatically alerting you of your asset being moved outside an unauthorised geographical area or set time period it can also be used for ‘live’ tracking.
How Live Asset Works
Live Asset combines a number of powerful technologies such as Global Positioning System (GPS) Mobile Telephone Networks (GPRS & GSM) and Radio Frequency (RF) together with physical movement sensing to monitor, record and relay in ‘real’ time its position to the ‘Live Track’ central server at pre-defined intervals best suited to the nature of the asset and its value/situation. The entry portal on the ‘Live Track’ server has been specifically configured from ‘Asset Monitoring’ to allow the user/subscriber to view this information directly in order to view where the asset is, and where it has been. As the device is battery powered, operational life is reserved by setting suitable wake-up intervals that can be between 1 and 30 minutes.
Live Asset – How the Asset is Protected
The device has two methods off detecting if the asset has been moved in an unauthorised manner. Firstly the device moves outside of a geographical area (Geo-Fence), and secondly if the on-board motion sensors detect movement. Both of these activation methods can be switched on and off via the user interface on the secure web-portable, SMS text message or email alerts add more flexibility into the system that typically allows it to operate as a tracking system which may be required when the asset is moved in an unauthorised manner.
Live Asset – Journey Tracking
Live Asset does not stop working when the Geo-Fence and the motion sensors are de-activated, it switches to ‘Journey’ mode it and acts as ‘Live Track’ updating the web portal at regular intervals – usually at least once a minute.

- 30 Days with 4 hourly wake-up intervals
- 10 Days with 10 minute wake-up intervals
- 7 to 8 Hours with 1 minute wake-up intervals
• Easy installation: Positive and negative with optional activation switch - usually ignition.
