The system consists of a single combined relay control box and user interface within an enclosure that fits into a standard automotive DIN sized radio slot. All outputs are pre-loomed, eliminating the need for separate connectors and relay boards.
System Intelligences
Due to built-in intelligence and the option to configure the device facia, each unit is usually configured to match the customers specific application.
Man to Machine Communications
The user interface is built into the device as a facia plate that contains 10 programmable, illuminated touch sensitive push switches. Each switch can be programmed to perform either a single or a combination of functions. As such each switch has the ability to operate as a ‘HOT’ key.
Built-in Headlight Flasher
The unit has integrated Headlight Flasher circuitry with associated lamp isolation and switching relays together with nine adjustable flash sequences, including an ‘easy’ test position
Programming the Device
For ease of use the device is usually programmed at RSG before delivery, particularly when purchased by the end user. However, should a vehicle converter wish to hold stock of unformatted devices this may be an option provided training is undertaken first.
Flying looms and connectors
The unit is pre-fitted with flying looms and connectors which assist with the installation process. Very handy in a cramped centre console area.
